Im thinking about getting keyless entry installed on my car. I have already have a remote starter (canadian tire/not installed yet) and it has a second button on it for power locks. I was wondering if it can be programed to work with the locks im about to get put on. Also, at the moment, my car doesnt have power anything. How much trouble will it be to put the keyless entry (at least on driver door) and how much should i expect to pay at a local shop. Any info on this would be great. Thanks
Jeff

Well, if you already had power locks then a couple hundred would get you keyless installed. Without power, I can only guess, but I'd say around five hundred(?).
I'd ask the installer/dealer about a unit compatible with your remote starter if you want to be sure to avoid two separate "detonators" on your keychain ....

$500 maybe a bit much ...lol, but he says he is considering having it installed, if you do it yourself that's a different story ... :)
