How long does the engine and tranny last?

I was just wondering about how many miles both the transmission and the engine last in the Mazda Mx3 GS version. Currently i am in the market to buy one and was just wondering about how many miles is still a good number to buy the car with.<BR>thanks<p>[ February 28, 2002: Message edited by: jpmx3 ]
