Lowering Question?

Post by Rob Stone »

I,m looking to lower my mx-3 (93' 4cyc)just a little and was wandering if just installing lowering springs by themselves would do the trick. I have heard alot of talk about installing ZX-2 struts. What springs are most people using and where can I find some cheap?

If you want an inexpensive way to lower your car you could get the 91-96 Escort lowering springs by Dropzone and Ford ZX2 performance struts. Thats what I did on mine and it rides way better than the stock it used to have. Just a warning though that it will throw your camber off so its recommended to get some camber bolts to go with this set up.
