automatic seatbelts (HELP!)

okay i got the recall done to both seatbelts on my 92 gs and it fixed the problem temporarily but now theyre horrible. the driver side one locks up a lot and i have to hit it and the passenger one does as well. sometimes i have to restart my car before the belts will even move. also that stupid light on my dash keeps goin on and beeping and i didnt even do anything. im buckled in and if i move an inch itll stop beeping. <BR>any answers will be appreciated.<BR>Dan

I'd take it back to mazda also. They should not get stuck, that's what the recall was for.<BR>The beeping is a relatively easy fix. It requires cleaning the sensor board on the belt roll under the arm rest and rotating the inner piece behind the sensor board by 10-20 degrees.<BR> :roll:

My drivers side seatbelt was broken for like 5 years. I took it to Mazda a couple of weeks ago, and since it had a recall it was free. Works great now. If I were you, I'd take it back and make them fix it.

There's a recall on the seatbelts...........NICE! I currently have the fuse pulled from them, since both of my motors don't work. koliveira@genlyte.com <BR> :D

Has anyone swapped to non-Mickey Mouse belts? Complicated? Or easy? Thanks!!

for this seatbelt recall, <BR>how does it work?<BR>i just recently got the car, and the drivers side belt is stock, it's not moving anywhere.<BR>will it be free?

one more question<BR>here is the link to a website, with all the recalls on 92 mx3 v6, <BR>will I be able to get some of this things done to my car? or since it's 10 year old, it will not apply to it?

i have a 92 they replaced the whole drivers side track for free bout a month ago. as far as i know there is no timelimit on the recal.
