my very first mod was removing the resonator under the air intake box, i probably gained 1 or 2 hp no money involved there.. if you wanna spend some money go by yourself a good aftermarket performance muffler and you'll notice a few gains.. but for the full effectiveness get a whole custom piping about 2 1/4" may cost you more...

if your goin to get a catback, get 2in, 2.25 is 2 big, and doesnt allow for enough back pressure for our engines to still have tourque

for 50-60 bucks phenolic spacers cool the intake manifold yadda yadda yadda and give about 5hp/5tq. <A HREF="http://home.san.rr.com/scmorgan/spacers/" TARGET=_blank>phenolic spacers</A>
