1992 and 1996 GS not same oil filter ?

arent the 96 gs's i-4s >??? that could be a big diff, cause the 92's are 1.8 v6s

I could have sworn that all GS's were v6 and the RS was the four?? yea, all the GS's are 1.8L v6's...which came in the USA from 1992-1994...the 1996 must be from outside the US...this might cause the filter to be different, even though they both have the same engine's dont they???..thats my best guess

i have hade 2 92gs. the 1st one had the oil filter on the back of the engine kinda burried under the exhaust manifold. wrecked that car. my new one(still a 92 but was in a wreck and rebuilt) has the filter in the front left corner. not sure if the car i have now is actually a 92 engine or not. but there definatly is different oil filter locations.
