Rev Limiter???

Rev Limiter???

I have a 92' GS does it have a rev limiter...if so when does it kick in and what would be the best rpm to shift out at...just wondering no one in my area knows anything about these cars...

the rev limiter on my gs is at 7200 or 7250<BR>i like to rev that high sometime but you almost d'ont have more power past 6500 7000..<P>so shift before the redline if its cool or shift higher if your race is tight !!<BR>(my opinion)

I took it up to 7500 and it never kicked in...

Rev limiter is set around 7600 rpm, I have hit it many times.<P>David Coleman: correct me if I'm wrong, but optimum shift points are:<BR>~7200rpm 1st to 2nd<BR>~6800rpm 2nd to 3rd<BR>not sure about the rest, I think they're about 7100ish.
