I'm new, Dutch, and loving my '93 MX-3 1.8iV6. I bought it last week, with 89.000km.
I've noticed alot of people having ticking engines, and mine does it aswell. They say to fix it, you have to use another oil, pref. thinner. How do I do this? I know how to *add* oil, but not how to change it.. could someone please help?
Here's a picture:

Have you never changed your oil before?

That depends on your definition of "changing". I've added oil to the engine, but I've never done a complete change of oil (I've only had a car of my own (a 626 before this mx-3) for 8 months now, mind you ;) ).
[ February 28, 2003: Message edited by: sinaasappeltje ]

En hoeveel moet er dan weer in? 1/2/3/4 liter? *** ziet zo'n katterkap eruit?

I would suggest having your oil changed atleast every 5000km.
