Hey
I have a '94 MX-3, with a V6, and like most other owners out there, I love it. But what really bugs me is that my boyfriend has a miata, and can whip the pants off my car. I am not that good of a driver, and he has some serious mods going on, but come on now, I need to do something. I am not lookin to spend 5 grand on a custom turbo, but anything that you can suggest would be so great
Thanks

I have a manual, and the Miata is a '91 manual as well. All I have so far is an HKS intake, I have only had it for 2 months.

If you want some serious power for about 2k US$ you can buy a KL-ZE engine, with your stock V6 its pushing around 130 horses, with the KL-ZE, you can get 200 horses. There is other mods you can get such as Headers, and what not. If you want speed your going to have to spend the money and time, there is no way around it. Good luck

speed equals money--how fast do ya wanna go? if you want cheap HP for under a thousand, get nitrous or a KLD (KL-03) engine from a probe GT/mx-6 V6/626 V6. you can find 50-shots of nitrous from $500, for you can get another 30HP all the time from the new engine. KL-ZE or turbos sound like more than you want to spend but those give the biggest gains.

Zex makes a good nitrous kit if you're into juice

Under 2 grand is what I am looking to spend. Exhaust is defintely on the list- Brullen is my top choice. Thinking about an engine swap, but undecided. Thanks! :D
