Exhaust
Hey-
I am either wanting to get a Brullen Cat-back or a MazdzSpeed. MazdaSpeed are more expensive, and I don't know if it is worth it to spend the extra cash. Does anyone have either, and if so, did it make much difference power-wise? Does it sound deep or really ricer? Please help with me any information you all have
Thanks

Re: Exhaust
I have heard that MazdaSpeed has discontinuted their cat-back exhaust but maybe I'm wrong. Otherwise, if I were you and had extra cash on hand, I would definitely invest in a MadzaSpeed cat-back exhaust. I have heard and read only great things about it. It's as quiet as the factory exhaust and gains about 4hp at the wheels. Who would complain with that? You definitely get the extra bang for the buck. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Exhaust
Your basically paying for the name, you can get the same gains from an aftermarket exhaust, maybe better with a custom one, as long as its done right.

Re: Exhaust
Mazda Speed discontinued everything, but CorkSport still sells some MazdaSpeed stuff. I guess what I am wondering is if it is worth it to spend the extra 75 dollars for MazdaSpeed, or is it the same as a Brullen. I would love to get a custom, but all the places where I live suck, so I basically have to stick with one of those two
Thanks

Re: Exhaust
i'd go with the brullen. i have heard an mx-3 w/the mazdaspeed and you could not notice that it had a new exhaust, it sounded stock. i've heard an mx-3 with the brullen and gives the mx-3 a much deeper, more solid tone. as for perfomance gains i think they are comparable to each other. the brullen sounds sick as hell.
