maybe a Q for Dave<BR>I have a KL03 in my car I have a set of K08 cams what are the differances in other words can I get the 08 cams Reground or can I use the 08 cams temp. and get the 03 cams reground

The rumour is that the K8 cams have more lift but less duration than the KLD cams. I suppose since you can run KL cams in a K8, you can run K8 cams in a KL. Either way would do.

Oh yeah, and this is a V6 performance question if I've ever seen one...<P><I><B>Post Moved</B></I>

Would swapping kl03 cams into my k8 increase performance in any way??

Im running the kl03 cams in the k08 engine and have had no problems. k08 cams have different size lobes(some are smaller) and the kl03 cams all the lobes are the same size. <BR>Dave S.<BR>94 GS

if your going to put new cams in, just get them from Colt Cams, my friend got them and he said the car pulls hard all the way to the redline.

I cant tell you if there was any hp gain because at the same time I put on Steve (tec guy) old heads that he had shaved and I ported them. Steve also had 97 kl03 cams sitting around so i put them in. I did gain more hp but i cant tell you if the cams gave more power or how much. When I messured the lobes by what I can tell the k08 and kl03 are the same but on the k08 cams the intake or the exhaust cams cant remember have some lobes that are smaller where on the kl03 all the lobes are the same.<BR>Dave S.<BR>94 GS
