Sluggish and Jerky

Post by Outofmymindyo »

I have a 92 MX-3 V-6 1.8l and I was wondering why it might have acceleration problems. When idling the rpm's jump around between about 200 and 800. I don't know why this might happen. It seems to be worse with the radio on, the brakes on, and when I move anything that's electric in the car. It's fine when the car is cold but not when it's warm. I've been told it could be injector's or a bad fuel pump or a clogged fuel line. I've already replaced the battery. Thanks.

It could even be your alternator. I would take it to a shop and have it put on the computer to read your codes. That may or may not tell you what's wrong.<BR>~Ryan~
