Hi,
I need to replace my Cat. Converter, as it has started blowing

.
Welding is an option, but I am examining getting a replacement. Can a replacement cat improve performance?
I have browsed previous posts, but cannot find any definite recommendations. By-passing the Cat is not legal (as I understand it) in the UK. My back box is new so a whole replacement system is not really an option.
Any advice about replacing my cat (particularly in the UK) would be greatly appreciated.
kration
=======================
92 Black 1.8 V6

I recently hollowed out my cat, and it sounds and runs a LOT better now....yea it's "illegal", but we only have emissions every 2 years here, and who knows, it still might pass
------------------
~'94 GS (Creek Blue Mica)
