Hey guys <P>Well I just got back from the car dealership and made a deposit on a 1996 MX-3 GS V6. It's a beautiful car <P>Can I please get some input from some of you long time MX-3 owners and experts on what the first few things I should consider in terms of aftermarket mods. intakes/exhausts/sway bars/shifters. I'm strictly interested in performance. Best bang for the buck.<P>Could you guys give me an idea of different things I could look into, and mabye where I could purchase them online. Also, how much does the part you are recommend could I expect to pay, and statistically what kind of performance increases it will give me.<P>Thanks a lot guys! I take it since you're a new MX-3 owner you don't know about the now infamous 2.5L KL engine swap into the V6 MX-3's. Hey Dave,<P>NICE ride!! Hot pink is sooooo sexy hehe Damn, you must fly in that ride for sure.<P>That 200hp KLZE japanese spec engine sounds pretty sweet for under $1500USD! I think in 5-6 months I would definately like to make that swap. I have a couple of questions regarding this. I am pretty far from being handy with cars, so is there anyone that you know of in the Toronto area that would be able to do this for me when I decide to make the swap? How much would you figure in Canadian funds to have the engine purchased and have the old engine removed, and the new one installed?<P>Finally, if anyone knows anyone in this newsgroup, I would be willing to drive to have this done. Most likely sometime in December. Also, will I have to tell the insurance company about this? lol<P>Thanks again!<BR>Jay

Hey Jonny, thanks a lot man. That was exactly what I've been looking for. But now I think I'm gonna go for a KLZE swap and then see what mods can be done to that.<P>Can all the same mods be done with that engine, or would some stuff be different?<P>Jay
