My 91' V6 (UK spec) MX-3 is doing something
wierd, when it's idling if you depress the accelerator then release it, the revs don't
just drop back down to a steady tickover,
they'll drop right down and the engine will judder a bit, then tehy go up over normal idling then settle back down, as I know sod all, it'll probably be a visit to the dealers soon Image
I know it can't be the HT leads 'cause they were replaced recently... I've cleaned and gapped the plugs and that's about the limit of my mechanical ability...
If anyone's come across this and could enlighten me as to the cause I'd be grateful..
TIA
Robin

Thanks to Justin who mailed me the solution.
It turns out there was a crack in the rubber
hose the goes between the air cleaner and the engine, and as the engine moved it opened! Sorted! Image)
