Gunmetal or Silver??

Post by HRO »

I'm getting some 17's for my car in the spring, and can't decide on silver (grey) rims or gunmetal. My car is Silver (click my sig for pics, if you don't know what it looks like).
Also my car will be very very low in the spring as well, so I don't know if I should go 16's or 17's. With 16's I could lower it more I guess.
Anyways tell me what you think. Thanks :)

silver on silver is too stock looking...for your car i would definitely do a hyperblack or the gunmetal for sure. looks really nice.

yeah i think you should go wit the gunmetal 16's. if you go with 17's u might get some rub which just means more money for extra parts.
ask someone to photo shop it for you, mynes silver to and i would like to see how that looks.
Hmm. what to do now..
....maybe a VTEC for lunch.

I agree marsh. silver on silver will look very stock, they won't really stand out. The gunmetal rims on that sliver RX-8 look amazing!!

get gunmetal..
and get 17's.. you will be disappointed with 16's.. and if you get them sized correctly.. it shouldn't matter if you have 10 inch wheels, or 18 inch wheels.. if they are sized correctly, ie, the rolling diameter remains the same, then the height of the wheel won't change.. therefore no rubbing..
with me?

personally id get 16's. since your car has such a body kit id have to say 17's in black at least cuz the 16's would look tiny on your car. how do u go lower with 16's than 17's unless your using the wrong tire size?

Personally i favor a 14 or 15.. Think that has to do with traction and drag raceing though...
But yeah if you pay atttenion to the offset things should be groovy.. and gun metal is your god.. secumb
