Help with Eunos Presso Transmission

Hi,
I'm from Barbados and I have a 1994 Presso 1.8 V6 that I bought used from Japan. I have to replace the transmission and I can't find 1 locally. It would be significantly cheaper if I could buy 1 in North America and get it shipped here instead of ordering 1 from Japan. My question is do the parts from an MX3 1.8 V6 fit the Presso, especially the transmission?
Thanks and regards,
Handbrake2.

Yes. You could also use an automatic transmission from a MX-6 V6 or Ford Probe GT V6 [93-97] with some adaptation.

Adaptation sounds bad. Would an MX3 transmission be a direct swap, or can I buy a Eunos transmission directly in the States?
Regards,
Handbrake2.

So the gearbox from the MX-3 GS would be identical to one from a Presso 30x V6.
