I need to know the corrrect Presso part number for a complete cylinder head Gasket kit so that I can source it in Singapore or Australia.
I have checked the on-line manual from the MX-3.com page, however I can’t decipher the correct part number.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Davies

please note my email and the response as follows:

quote:
Hey Adam
How are you? Mazda doesn't actually do a kit as such for the cylinder head.
Do you need stuff like the rocker cover gaskets, bolt seals, inlet and
exhaust gaskets etc.
The problem will be though, the car is imported so I can't be certain the
parts will fit. But the part numbers between the 2 series we have hear are
basically the same so we might get lucky.
Let me know if that's what your after.
Ta
Nicole

DJMR, let me know if you need me to follow this up any further.
@ds

Hi Adam and Nicole,
I have finally managed to identify the specific parts that I need:
head gasket R
head gasket L
Note I also need an indicator (guard?) lamp (left fender).
I have sourced the parts in WA, Australia and I have been advised by the Madza dealership that it will take about 7 days to order them (I presume from the Eastern States) and then I have to wait another 10 days or so for the parts to be arrived to the Seychelles via parcel post.
Is there any other way that the waiting period could be shortened, especially if the part could be bought and shipped directly from Melbourne or Sydney?
Thanks
Davies

Davies,
Sorry it took so long to reply.
I think that is pretty quick delivery time. I wouldn't like your chances of getting anything sooner then that.. I am into my 8th week of waiting for parts to be shipped from O/S....
Let me know if you still need help.
Adam
