Double Din Decks

MX-3 has two dins for stereo and I wonder if anyone ever tried to install double din decks like sony wx4500d. I installed single din cd-player before, but I never tried to take off the over plastic piece on the other din. Please let me know.

I've never done it but the plastic piece has the same bolt pattern. Just take it out and install.

Lol you can install a Double Din deck with no problems.
I've got the stock tape deck in the car, and in the other slot where the pocket used to be is my CD player.

i was thinkin the same thing. use my stock as a tuner, and the second DIN for my cd/mp3/cdr
