very good job, love the way it looks. :D
but i have several suggestions although i know $hit about computers.
1. It would be sick if you could put a touchpad mouse right beside where the ebrake comes down (the original place where seatheater buttons go on the SE model)
2. I was thinkin if it was possible to place the motherboard under the passenger side seat.
3. a smaller power supply would be alot easier to fit anywhere, that depends if such thing exists at all (i said, i know $hit) :D
But overall, i love how you placed the screen, very clean job there.

look into getting a busted laptop, yank the touchpad mouse from it and wire it up or get one with the little button that you push in drirections

I re-sized the close-up of your screen-- that one slipped by me when I was uploading it...
THAT WAS HUGE!!! 1600x1200!!!
LOL
It looks better in person-- these pics dont do it justice ( even though I took them... LOL)

if you dont mind me asking, whats the size of that LCD screen? looks about like a 5.7" maybe...and how does the computer look on there? for example, text...is it too small to be negligable? i think that would be an awesome set up, but it seems like i would be squinting to see everything :)

nearly impossible to do :)

Use a glidepoint, they're cheap, try Ebay.

it is a 5.7 as for the text well if you leave it as default its nearly impossible to read but ive gone through and increased font sizes in the default plus with the gui im using the text is very readable

i havent gotten an mx-3 yet, but do you know the dimensions of the space in the dash where you placed the monitor? like, how much height, and width is available for a bigger monitor

the biggest screen you can fit is a 7.2" you could probably fit bigger but you would end up cutting into your side trim pieces

allrighty, thanks for the quick reply

what about height-wise...because they have the 7.2 widescreens, or the full screens.

eitherway, i think i can get my hands on a 7"

BE careful what u buy. the Lilliput's w/ VGA are actually better than the xenarc screens because they have a 400nit brightness as opposed to the 250nits of a Xenarc, and they are only 300 bucks w/ touchscreen.
