help with Deck:(

I got a Kenwood KDC MP919 Mp3 player in my car. and when i turn it on and I get a high pitch noise on the AM station that is was last on. Please help on what could be causing this.

sounds like there is interference some where, ummm can't think of what would cause that sorry i can't be of more help i'll have to think some more does it only happen on am stations? or both fm, am, and cds?

It only happens on one AM station, The last station that i was listioning too. All the other Am and Fm station work fine.

sounds like an internal problem. If you change the station and go back to it is the whine still there?<p>How long ago and where did you buy it? Do you have a warranty?

Just reset it. If that doesnt work contact Kenwood its an internal problem

ive had my mp919 for a year this month and i dont have that problem. u might want to check your grounds if your using amps and make sure your power lines are not running with your rca lines cuz that causes noise. other than that if those arent your problems return the sucker and get another one. ull love the headunit once u get your problems solved. if your running amps turn all the crossovers off cuz u wont need them.
