Everything looks pretty good to me with the exception of the amp. I've never heard of that company. Especially nice selection on the 6x9s and head unit. :D

I think she means Lighning audio. They are considered an "ok amp" more of a baseline amp. Its not bad though. More of a budget amp. Nice amps are expensive.

BumpNGlow and I have the same idea, whatever sounds good to you. If the audio bug really bites then you can kiss your money goodbye.

Lightning Audio is owned by the same parent company that owns Rockford Fosgate and (dont quote me on this) I think the internals roll off the same lines as the RFs do. I have one of 1st ones and I'm very happy with it.

Mine was actually a demo at the stereo store it was purchased from (the amp). It definately sounds good, i have the bass set low and even with the volume all the way down it won't stop bumpin'. I'm kinda curious about all that ohm crap, I know it's not even a factor here because it's personal use. I guess I should just take a class about that stuff. Thanks for your comments,

You dont need a class, its more of a small read up on how DC works and such. That and knowing that Amps can be sensitive items.

Ohms is the resistence. The lower the ohms the more power you get. From what I've seen, most amplifiers run at 4 ohms or 2 ohms stereo and 4 ohms bridged. But there are some amps that can handle .5 ohms. I think the old Orion HCCA amps could handle the .5 ohms stereo. Also I agree with the other fellows on here, if the music sounds good to you then its good. If you want to learn more on car audio read up about it on the internet and from magazines. Thats how I learned about it. I don't know everything, but I learn new stuff everyday.
PS. On the ohm subject, I don't think there is ANY amp on the market that can handle 2 ohms or lower bridged. When I first started in the car audio hobby I fried my first amp (a kenwood 600 2 channel). But I learned from my mistakes. Hope this information helped some ppl out.
Peace
