subs not working

Hey my sub stopped working the other day, i have a 200 wat amp and an 8 inch sub, but my sub only hits once in a while and doesnt hit with much power, any ideas?

check all your connections to make sure you have no loose wires.

most common prob for this is a bad ground as long as all other connections are good. good place to ground is under rear seat. just scarpe all paint off around the area.
