I just removed my front speakers and noticed they were soaked. it rained the night before, and water must of leaked through.
i read somewhere that u can use a margarine container and fabricate it to fit, but i was wondering if there is something i can buy specifically to fix this?
Thanks....

or u can save money and do it urself like i did. goto a dollar store or food market type place and get those plastic cereal bowls. cut a section out (like 1/3 the bowl) and mount the speaker on top of that and screw the whole thing in your door panel.
Dan

or you could look into what is leaking and fix it that way. there are other things inside the door besides the speaker that shouldn't get wet.

water gets down in the window track. Its not thought of as a problem, its just something that happens with our cars. Thats why there are drain plugs at the bottom.

sorry i dont have a pic, but i can steal my moms digital camera and take my panel off in a few days if that would help.
its really easy though, the speaker than bowl then door. its between the door and speaker. u have to drill some holes though (well i did bc my speaker holes dont line up) but very easy. email if u need more info
Dan
