Hey guys, I got one of the top of the line pioneer head units for xmas..After alot of research I figured it would be the best head unit to get at the time. its the 6300 model..I thought i was cool but now i realize im gonna need some more power ( amps and a sub )...what should i be looking for? I want good sound not just loud. I dont know what wattage I should be looking at 300 or 700, and what features a good amp will have? Will I have to replace my stock speakers since there all still stock? I jsut want some good base to get the heads turning but I want to hear crisp soudns also...any info would be great , oh yeah should I get a new alternator first? when I hit brakes and stuff my lights dim, will a beefier stereo kill my alt?
Thanks
Ryan
[ May 15, 2002: Message edited by: Ryencool ]

your gonna have to have a bad a-- system to turn heads. the mx-3 keeps alot of noise insid ehte car. in my opinion. read my website about the subs i had. i had 2 12 and i was hitting around 140db (not to much). outsid emy car ppl were like week but when they sat inside it would rattle your brain.

ya thats how my car is!!! inside the car , u get a full body masage, and i sounds loud and amazing. but when u go outside , u can barely hear any bass with the windows up. with the windows down u can here it pretty well but nothing crazy. but i guess i should be happy that my car has completey no rattle. check my sight out!!
<A HREF="
