"sail panel" I believe. Offers great SQ that way. I used to have the in the corners of my windshiled in my last car (top corners of the windshield, 2 way taped up there). They sounded nice to me, but in true SQ respects, they had a lot of seperation from the midbass, which is not good if you are true SQ person (which I am not).
Kick panels seem to be the best all around though. I dont' really like kick panels, but they offer the best SQ

Shouldn't really have the tweets placed too far away from the midbass, so both the tweet and mid reach your ear at the same time.

my tweets are behind the door right behind where my head is in the seat. At first it was a bit blaring but i adjusted them and its fine. Putting them in this space allows for better definition and seperation from the mid-bass

they're called pillars.
well, mount your tweeters anywhere as long as you can point it towards the windshield. the result will be an equally rebounded high frequency that hits with extreme accuracy. the reason for towards the windshield is so it bounces off.

Thought that was pretty cool...
I know that the pilars(or sail panels) are not the best spot possible, but they are the best spot reasonably...
