engine noise

i just installed a indash monitor and an indash dvd player. i have alot of engine noise coming out of my speakers. when the rpms go up, this little wine in the speakers gets higher. anyway to correct this?

how did you ground the equipment? I had this happen when I grounded the amp directly to the battery. Moving it to the chassis sorted it out. It may be picking up feedback from the engine if it is grounded into the car's circuitry. Maybe moving the grounds to the metal chassis may help. just a thought. somebody with electrical experience may be able to give you a more definate answer than I can, so wait for more replies before trying anything. :roll:

If you have the new monitor and DVD grounded the same place as your previous sterio, then I would have to say there is something wrong with the monitor or DVD.

i didnt ground the previous cd plyer cuz the antenna worked as a ground and when i hooked up the ground wire i would blow fuses. im gonna try moving the ground to the chassis and see if it works
