Good Enclosures?

Post by Becks »

Hey, I need to know of some strong, brand-name sealed woofer enclosures that sound good. Im thinking of going with this Q-logic http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/QLCQLH8512SX
People say that the best box u can get is the one u build yourself. But, I have NO experience in woodworking and i am 150% sure i would f--- something up.
Thanks

What they mean by ones you build yourself are prolly fiberglass enclosures.

fiberglass is some shitty stuff to work with. if you dont know how to use it exactly you will f--- it up.
i still dont like prefab boxes. have one made to your subs specs.

Just make sure the box is made of at LEAST 3/4" MDF. Try and match the subs volume close to what is requred by your subif you go pre fab.
Even if you build a box yourself its not hard, and if you mess up its no big deal.
