What type of box should I get?

Does a Bandpass box do justice in a MX-3? I think I finally decided to go bandpass. I like the idea of fiberglass and putting some neons inside them or something to give it a tight but inexpensive look. Someone told me its a sin to put a bandpass in a hatchback but they someone told me that bandpass rocks no matter what. Does anyone have a bandpass in thier mx-3 and if so do you have pics of the box? If bandpass sucks should I got sealed or ported? And if ported where should I have those at? Subs toward the rare, ports facing up? Im not even sure what the differences are. My camaro just had 4 12s in a sealed...

i had my friends 2 12's in a HUGE bandpass box in my trunk for about 2 weeks while his jeep was in the shop(we enjoy switching subs around). they sounded good, but the box was soo FREAKIN' huge i folded my seat down. i had them facing the cabin. it was cool, air moving behind ur head. i would think the if you face the ports up or rear, you'll like what u get.

Actually I am going to go folded horn. They hit harder than a bandpass, and are clearer. I have 2 12" soundstream Rubicon subs. I am eventually going to build a custom fiberglass, but this will do for the time being =) That is what I would do. If not, a bandpass is nice if you want HARD bass, but sealed if you want clear.

My box, Is air tight, 2 single chambers, take sup the entire hatch, and the subs are pointed @ the glass, its VERY loud and the subs hit very deep! The bass will hit the glass and you will hear them better, If pointed @ the back , hatch will rattle , and u loose sound. IF @ the back seats, you loose bass as well if its sealed.
