Clarion v/s Alpine for my Mx-3. You decide......

I need to make a decision on purchasing a head unit for my car, and I'm so bad at decisions. I've heard some good things about both the Clarion VRX-8271 and the Alpine CVA-1000. I can't decide which one I'd like to have more. They're both used and are the exact same price. Any suggestions ?
