Nightrider... been done?

Haha, I was just reading a post and saw a picture from the show Nightrider with David Hasselhoff.<P>Just wondering if anyone has done the red LED thing in the front to their car?<P>I know now-a-days it would be considered what they call "rice"... but it would be "wild rice", yes no?<P>Haha, I'm tired, I'm going back to sleep...

i had one on my mx3...and then i put it on my protege, but i'm too lazy to take it off and on for autox so its not there anymore.<BR>-ghetto wires aren't what the tech's wanna see!

not completely sure what the led looks like in nightrider, but i installed a led in both of the headlights and hooked it up to the alarm so when i arm the alarm the headlights flash red looks pimped

I want to go blue with the light, is there another place that I can get them, or do I have to modify the red lights?

I imagine blue would be illegal. Impersonating a police officer. I dunno for sure tho.

How could it be illegal, I'm not using it for my headlights or signals, just above the license plate. It's just like having a neon kit under your car. The police lights are on top or on their side mirror where mine is below. Still wondering what I can do about the blue nite rider light.

Also, having a neon underkit turned on while driving is also illegal. I'd check your local laws before spending money on this kind og mod.

Okay, I'll check to see if it's illegal first, but I still would want it for show anyway, where should I go first, a police station? county office? DMV?
