Just to let everyone know that if You live in Windsor, Ontario or the surrounding area that there are bodyshop crooks that will rip you off if you try to save a buck by going to them. The customs shop is called LQ CUSTOMS. They operate out of an alley garage of a house on Marion street in windsor and are crooks !!! I was once aquiantences with te "owner" JOE LIZZI. The company was started by him and my friend whom i wish not to name for privacy reasons. They formed a little over a year ago and are still operating with a new staff after Joe Stole over $900 from my friend and $200 from myself before my friend and i chose to leave thus leaving Joe without a body / paint man due to the fact that my friend did not enjoy his business practices. All of the work done by them is of poor quality and all short cuts are taken. My friend has since moved on to a reputable company in windsor where his skills as a mechanic and bodyman are paid for and recognized. I read about 6 months ago that someone on this forum posted statements saying that they work for him and can do vert. door conversions lol. Once joe tried to convince a clinet that he had an ugraded turbo on his dodge shadow that joe owns when it was simply a hair drier, i kid you not, modified to look like a compressor housing and painted silver. Please do not associate with this shop as they are under investigation by the local police whom i know some high up members, for fraud and other charges etc.. they are crooks and thieves and he has even cost me some of my best friends as a result of him dating and abusing one of my girl friends and thus causing a rift in our friendship due to me expressing my opinions. Sorry for the length but had to warn everyone about this guy, he is truly scum and trust me i know first hand from being at the shop everyday for 6 months what goes on there, he even sold a radio to a kid saying that it worked but the lcd illumination did not and he threatened us that if we said anything during the sale we would be in trouble. LQ CUSTOMS = SCUM. He owes many people money and is at the casino everynight (my mom works there and sees him every shift) trying to get out of debt, very sad but scum don't be fooled ask around.

i dont know how canada is but in the US we have to get enviromental permission & have the proper zoning to have a body shop, why not just shut it down that way

yeah we do too but they simply come by and tell them to flip up the sign that is hanging from the garage. It's not even a legit business just a guy and some losers doing stuff on the side. Its just that the import community in this city is very tight knit and trusting so i wanted to warn ppl not to believe the guy who was on here before is all. Thanks for the reply though.
