Grrrr....I got to register my car after buying it in november of 03 because the tags were good till april. So now, a few months later, the registration is like $120, plus transfering of title another $110. Now I'm up to $230 and a little steaming, but I was keeping my cool.

sorry to hear that, i got my charger and i had it for like year then i transferred title, guess what i didnt tell them i bought it long ago, sorry for you. I just know this lady at local DMV and i got my collector plates, registration, transfer title and everythig else for like $115 total.

just look for stuff you can sell once your done with it

jewelery, school text books etc.,.etc..

thats WA for ya. they tax a car as many tims as its sold. thats why you gift it, but wait now you can only do that once and even if you bought the car in none working order for like 25 to 50 bucks and in reality if the car were in perfect condition and is worth like 3500 there going to tax you on the 3500 rather than the 25 bucks you paied for the damb car. i hate Gary Lock. you know we are like the 2nd highest taxed states in the country. that bites.
but look on the bright side at least were not paying several thousand dollars a year for tabs any more.

Wheres Tim Iman when you need him ? Oh yea, working on the 25% reduction in property tax !

But on the lighter side of news... it will only cost $35 to renew your tabs. I've payed upwards in $300 in renewal tabs for an MX-3 in other states.

Atleast I dont live in seattle. I hear the monorail tax on tabs is killing them....

19 more years for mine and then theyre free for my mx3 too lol
