MX3 SE leather seats help

Does anyone know if the heat pads in the seats were no installed in the USA or was the switch not installed? Im not sure I understand what mazda was doing reading the info on MX-3.com

well according to what i've gathered leather seats were not even supposed to be released in the USA cause they were issued in celebration of canada's 25 anniversary. However the seats do appear in some 93's in the USA. They are all heated.

They are not all heated<P>Mine certainly are not. USA models for the SE came with leather seats but I don't think they came with the heated seat option - some might have though.

but the thing is in canadian no SE models if you take the box behind the e-brake off. you will see a wire that has a place to be connected to something which is the exact same place that heated seat switch is located eh! has anyone tried connecting the heated seat switches there? are they for that purpose at all? cuz i connected my neon lights there,,,<P>latez

SUCCESS!!!<P>I went this morning with the g/f and we paid $300(USD)for both front and rear seats.<P>It swapped in exactly as the seats in my car came out. It was a bolt for bolt swap. The only difference was my 94gs had different seat belt anchors in the seat. So I will need to swap over the anchors because the '94 buckle is too big for the anchor. No heated seats as far as I can see.
