I bought mine because i saw it and thought.. cool what the f*** is that thing? and looked under the bonnet and saw 24Valve V6 stamped on it. Took it out for a spin, that was it.

Re: all in the family
I had previously owned a 323, and liked it very much. It was an accident when I bought my MX-3. I was at an auto sale at our local mall, and that was the only car in my price range that I liked. At first, I thought it was a Toyota. When I got in it, I then noticed the similarities from my 323. This was in 98.

Re: all in the family
I was looking for a truck, mostly 4x4 about $15000cdn, found a nice sport s10 but had night milleage and was a lemon, i stumbled upon my mx-3 the day after my parents talked to me for me to consider a car for the milleage i drive, so the next day, i had an exam and left early for some exams. I bought the autotrader that happed to come out a day early, looked though before my exam, going through possible cars, 626's, Jetta's, Passats, Mx-6, Mx-3. And stumbled across mine. After driving my parents 1990 626 for 4 years, even since i got my beginners upto getting my G license and still going strong at 250k km's was quite encouraging, plus my dad would know how to fix it, and it was 1/3 my looking price.
