windows 2000 pro here<p>winxp bit the *** on me about 5 months ago, i dont think ill ever use it again

Since @ home i only have a Pentium 100 with 48 megs ram i am using Win98 Plus.

just win98, as far as i know xp has some compatibility issues with some software and games, so I havent bothered making the switch. Its nothing special anyways.

it could be because of my old pos board
i think i had a defective board from asus<p>oh well
did a full upgrade<p>win2k has never crashed on me since ive owned it<p>maybe im just lucky? :)

actually,
win2k is a very stable OS,
problem is, game compatibility.
If you play games...there slower, and buggier.
If you dont...its no problem.

Oh man, 2K is a very, very nice OS, it would perfer to use it over Xp, except gamming in 2K is very, very flaky, i found that only 30%-40% of my games work in 2K with a basic install, that rises to about 60% with patches or a sh*t load of configuration and tweaking. Need For Speed 4:Hish Stakes has a 4 page tex file in how to get it to rununder 2K :mad: <p>My Main machine dual-boots XP Pro and 98se
