drivning in the snow

is this a md thing......<BR>that people in trucks, trackers, 4wd think that they can go as fast as they want in the snow.....or is the world over<BR>i know iknow us in md cry when we get 2 + inches of snow....we are not used to it<BR>jason

Monty: i thinks it's the world over because here even when there is a major storm there and that everyone is driving at like 60km/h on the highway there is always that guy in a truck going at like 100-110km/h trying to pass everyone up.<P>Crazy people don't care about other drivers security ...

I guess this is just confirming that MDers are afraid of the snow except for the<BR>"invincible" 4wd trucks. I'm here to say that I have a 4wd suv and a mx, and my mx does better in the snow than the truck. <P>I like sliding around in the snow, it put a smile on my face this morning! :)

I love driving in the snow, it's alot of fun, but very dangerous. And yes, people in the trucks and 4wd think they are the fastest out there. This guy in a all wheel drive audi s4 punched it today in front of me, and he spun all over the road. lol And he thought he could handle it.<BR>My car sucks in the snow, my front tires are like slicks, plus no ABS. Iam putting new tires on today.
