I have a couple of questions for you guys if you don't mind.
My bro wants to get into R/C and I thought that i would look into finding one for him ( a gift ) but don't know where to start. What I was wondering is what is or what type of r/c is a good one to start a person off with. meaning motor and speed and all around fun. Anyways I would want to buy kinda midstream like not cheap but I don't want to break out in a loan either just a good middle to upper class car. Any suggestions would be grand or even if you have a web site to look around.
I would like more objective opinions than that of a sales man that just wants to sell a r/c to someone who has no idea.
Thanx
Mike

if your looking to get an RC car. Gas is better in alot of cases, but electric is better for beginners. this is NOT a cheap hobby. Expect to spend atleast 200+ bucks.
you need (if not included)
The controller, battery charger, batteries.
Make SURE u read what your getting. Some RTR's arent upgradeable.
My fav kits are HPI and Team Asscociated.

i think hpi's website is www.hpiracing.com ....yea and electric would be better for beginners. they usually sell kits in the "RTR" series which means ready-to-run. some of them cannot be modified so i would start off with the nitro and other series if you're really good at doing your research.
