Nissans/VW's

I drove my friends 96 200SX SE-R (filter/exhaust/wires)and it was crazy: 1st gear took me to 40 mph! and it pulled all the way through the band with crazy torque.<BR>I also got a chance to drive a 2002 VW Jetta 1.8T(w/ Sport Package but stock) and agian 1st = 40mph with no problem! <BR>it just makes me mad that i have to take it to redline in my car(92 SOHC) to get to 50mph.<BR>Argh ok im done whining
