I was driving around today, you know..doing my thing around town......ok.....i was dropping off a movie at the video rental place......i see this red mx3 with this MILF in it...you know....she gets out and walks into Food Lion (for you canadians, Food Lion is a grocery store)..anyways.. i go park next to the mx3....look at it closer.....and man....pure stock. pretty much a grocery getter...Point A to point B car...i felt bad...i fell to my knees and began to softly sob...well, i didnt do that, but man...its a shame seeing that..oh well.

ya theres all too many mx-3s around like that, but i look at it like this. its better to preserve the mx-3 in stock condition than to fill it up with a bunch of rice crap like R racing, all that wal-mart junk.

yep ..true..or people with the APC sticker on the windshield. You see people with saturns, cavileers, and old maximas with them on..they need to be slapped. R racing, walmart muffler tips. haha

i think the mx-3 in stock form already looks better and performs decently compared to other cars in stock form... and looks better in stock form than some other cars modded!!

Maybe our car was not truly met to be modded. Most cars are just that, grocery getters. Don't sob, respect her, for choosing a great car. Big deal she's kept it stock she's just keeping it pure. We are the ones taking it apart, putting it back together with new engines and modded parts. Sure, her car will never be like one of ours, but ours will never be like hers again. I say cheers!!! another mx3 just getting the job done, cause that's what a car is for.

Mine's pretty much stock and I intend to keep it 95% stock.
Exterior:
I have a GS V6. I like the look of the GS. Maybe if I got an RS I would do a body kit or something because I don't like the look of the RS.
Interior:
I like the interior of the 94's and I have it in leather so that's a bonus. Maybe the only thing I would do would be gauges. Definitely not getting racing seats because that is overkill for an everyday driver and look like oversized baby seats.
Engine:
It's only 135HP but has an amazing sound to it and wouldn't want to change it. Sadly that 135HP still smokes 99% of cars that dirty kids try to race you with (parents hand-me-down neons, cavis, civics).
I could spend 5 grand on a KLZE, headers, exhaust clutch and whatnot. But what's the point if i'm already destroying everything around here even when giving them head starts?
If I want speed I would use that towards a Yamaha R1 or R6. You can get a used sportbike for the same price of a KLZE which even a 600CC one would easily take you down.

I would rather see a complete stock MX-3 GS that is well taken care of driving around than an MX-3 GS with fogged up altezza's, neon lights all over and a fartpipe sticking sideways out of it.

KLZE really isn't an option around here. I can't even find mechanics that can manage using a funnel because I always get oil spilled down my engine after an oil change. Really sad.

Yeah, lucky you. My uncle helps me a little, but he's always really busy. So I'm mostly on my own. All my car experience is from this site though!

hey DJ im in canada, ive done the swap, its not nearly as tough as it might look, you dont need a mechanic to do it, just give yourself a good week if its your first time. and i did my swap with a new clutch, headers and exhaust for 2500.
