Whats better and whats the difference. I been wondering, I am thinking about buying a better brake system. I know that we don't have a big brake system. So can someone help me out. Thanks

that's probably the best answer. It's a prefference thing I guess. My rotors are full of holes. How they got there (drilled or otherwise) I dunno.....but I love them especially in wet conditions....but mostly for looks I think.

If you are buying rotors for looks you are buying it for the wrong reasons. Drilled rotors are notorious for cracking, slotted rotors don't experience this type of failure.

fine and dandy.....but my rotors haven't cracked.....yet. I didn't buy them for looks...I'm saying they look cool. I bought them cuz they were $50 ea CDN and I needed rotors. And they just happen to look cool. Have you seen the slotted rotors that go all the way through? Whats that about?

I have both, slotted & drilled, for two years now with no problems. They a lot better in braking than the stock ones and they look good. <p>later,

slotted or drilled replacement rotors will not increase braking whatsoever. They will help dissipate heat better when you race your car, but for everyday use you won't notice a difference in braking.<p>Technically your braking power should decrease since the holes and slots are reducing the area the brake pads contact, but I couldn't tell a difference with my brembo x-drilleds

what about dimpled rotors?
i think ebc makes slotted and dimpled rotors. the ones i am talking about can be found on tireracks site.
