Going 1.6L SOHC to DOHC
how hard would it be to go from a 1.6L sohc to a DOHC? my friends older protege has a dohc head that im lookin at taking... looked at it and its exactly the same engine that ive got just has the better head... id have all the cam gears and all the equipment...

Probably the EASIEST swap in the car world. I would evn go so far as to say that its easier than any Honda swap.
NO-- his engine is NOT anywhere near the same engine that you have.
Its called a BP and there is MORE than enough info on this site for swapping details and instructions.
