Im looking for cheap but effective ways to get better performance out of my MX-3. It's all stock as far as I know except for muffler tips, and stereo that were on it when I bought it. It's a 1994 MX-3 1.6L 4Cy. DOHC. Also I would like to know where I can find technical manuals and how-to guides relatd to this car.

Yeah, you should be able to get one of those books at Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts. It's called either Haynes or Chilton's. You can get them off of Amazon pretty inexpensive if you get a used one. For easy power upgrades you can replace the intake, exhaust, headers, and cat. Any combo should give you a little more power.
