axle nutz

has anyone else had trouble with the axle nuts not moving??? mine are locked up, and there isnt much thats willing to move them, any suggestions?

breaker bar with a BIG pipe, and stand on it. that's if you don't have air tools.

BEFORE u do anythign else, make sure u knock the notch back out with a punch, the nut is tapped into a slot to keep it from moving on the axle.

yeah, the big pipe was the plan, but broke a breaker bar and craftsman 1/2 drive ratchet trying. this thing is stupid. i gotta get the clutch in, it is slipping horridly. i just hope i dont have to pay someone else to do it

yeah-- Borrow an air gun (a good one with lots of reverse torque)
Or-- you can use the big pipe/breaker bar trick, but have the handle rest on the ground. Turn the car on and blip the throttle.
It SHOULD break loose after that.
