Do you have about $15000 burning a hole in your pocket? Incredibly expensive to do, and the one you saw was a tube framed mx-3.

iv looked into it extensivaly and the easest way is to get a 2nd Gen RX-7, and swap out the tunnel and rear end. but its a hell of alot harder then you would think it is. there is alot of bracing and welding involved and most could not do it properly their selves. as it is very crutual to get all measurements correct, or your car will go sidways down the road. if you do it your self the minimum it would cost you is around 1500. now take in mind you will need a new motor and trans. if you have a 4cyl you can still utilize your motor with swaping in miata some parts. but the Rx7 drive train and suspension is the closest to match our car in weight and if it were RWD. thats why i would use it. also its a whole lot cheeper than a Miata, cause thats what i was origonally going to use, but every wrecker wants a butt load for them. one thing im not sure about is swaping the hubs from a miata to the RX7 im looking into it cause the Rx7 is 5 lug. and if you have rims you would have to get new ones.

also if you dont mind not having an independent rear end, you could put in a solid rear axle and it would save alot of time and money and would be alot easer.
