245 K and its done!! Need a motor!

I just did a compression check on my engine, and am only getting around 1/2 compression on the 4th cylinder - so basically my valves are burnt and I need to do either a valve job or a new motor.
Not sure if its the greatest idea to do the top end, without knowing how good the bottom end is and having to go back in again....
Anyone know where I can pick one up?? Or anyone used A-Spec performance before?? I know they can probably swap the engine for under $1000 bucks, but im a bit weary of getting a used engine...
