Does anyone know if this trans is a driect bolt in for the RS? This was the turbo model with the B6T. Please any help will be greatly appreciated, as I'am trying to decide which trans to use and I just came across one of these.

Yeah i could see tihs coming up in a search, although we did mate a Xr2 tranny to my old 94 motor for our fastiva project. I imagine that would be a yes.

WHat part of texas are you from?

I'm from south of Ft.Worth. Granbury area. I've got the B6T in my 93 but the sohc tranny couldn't take it and blew up. I've heard the xr2 tranny had better gearing and was built a little stouter.

As much as i hate plugging seraching a lot of times it doesnt reveal a lot.

Yeah its a drop in. or it should be with a combination of the mounts.. either way custom fab should not be needed.

The F tranny can pop easy so try to avoid hard launches =]

what clutch would you use?
PS. does any one know where the rev limiter is on the XR-2 ECU? i think derrick said 7,200 is the highest you really want to rev the b6t motors but i just want to go to 6,5-6,700. this 6,350 with the sohc ecu kills me...
