running fan constintly

Hey guys I was just wondering if I run my rad fan so it runs all the time if it will do any harm??

no harm at all... don't change the gauge of wire though... one time i hooked mine up to a toggle switch and it worked great until it got to hot that it melted the switch so keep that in mind also..

i think i need to do that cuz i have a feeling mine arn't hooked up/hooked up right... they don't seem to ever move lol... i mean i have never seen them spin sence i bought the car lol

explain to me something, do u just site with the car idling like @ car meets & such, wasting gas, the fan will turn on b/c it has no cool air running across the rad to cool down the coolant..........& if your rad fan is running go catch it..LOL jk

yah basicly just wasting gas... lol... and i think that is my overheating problem... that the fans don't turn on...
hmmm i think i might need like a whole know wireing harness or sumin... i got a feeling its gonna be expencive or atlest hard to find...

When I thought my fan was dead. I did a test. Take your coolant temperature sensor out, and ground it to the engine. If everything is ok, the fan will start spinning . Won't spin if there is a problem.

temp. sensor as in the screw in peice that goes into the thermosstat houseing... and should i do it when its running or not?

Sorry I must be tired, u don't need to unscrew the temp sensor. Just disconnect the connector going to the temperature sensor. Then use a jumper, to ground it out(on the ecu side). The ECU will think the car is hot and will start the fan.
