What Year Protege Motor Would fit Mx-3!?

I have a 1994 Mx-3 DOHC and i was wondering what year portege motor would fit it, if any? Or what other motors i could use for it? Ther are a couple protege motors on ebay and i was thiking they would fit, but before i bought i figured id ask you guys!
