is 95 or 97 pro motor for 300$ good ?

hey this junkyard said i can get the motor ( no tranny just motor and harness for 300 $ and the 97 has 30,ooo miles on it ...is this a good price ???? and i also seen a 1.8 escort motor 92 but i didn't get the price...i'll be going with the pro motor tho so is it all direct bolt up plug and play ect.....or will i have obd problems..? :welder:

the 95 and up proteges have OBD II i think you would end up having problems with that although the 95 is some kind of hybrid of the two from what i've been told ... not sure about that though

Yeah for best plug and play a 91-94 protege lx motor is advised..
